Friday: Scuderia Toro Rosso in distress at Monza
The first day of the Italian F1 Grand Prix was not very good for the small Scuderia, with both drivers feeling that there is still a lot of work to be done to find performance.
Daniil Kvyat (no. 26) – 9th and 13th
The Russian worked a lot this Friday but will need to continue that in certain areas: « It was a busy day but unfortunately we are not yet where we would like to be. With the hot temperatures, it was a bit tricky and tire management was not easy. We still need to work on the balance, with which I was not very comfortable today. We still have work to do tonight. »
Jean-Eric Vergne (No. 25) – 14th and 15th
The Parisian is not satisfied and will also have a busy evening: « I wasn’t really happy with the car today. Tonight we will review the data with the engineers to find the right solution for tomorrow and as much performance as possible for the rest of the weekend. »
