Friday: Hamilton not completely comfortable, Rosberg lacking speed at Mercedes AMG F1
The first day of the Hungarian Grand Prix in Formula 1 saw Mercedes secure the top two positions in each session. However, Lewis Hamilton is not completely satisfied with his car, and Nico Rosberg feels that it's lacking speed.

For the 2008 world champion, the handling was a nasty surprise: « We struggled with the low grip. I don’t know if it was due to the tires or the track itself, but it was quite bad in both sessions. It’s going to be important to have a good grid position tomorrow because it will be difficult to follow cars on this track and overtaking is always challenging here. »
« We have work to do tonight to ensure we have the best setup for the weekend because we are not fully comfortable with the car at the moment, but our pace seems good. We will need to look at the data to really know where we stand, » he concluded.
Nico Rosberg (#6) – 2nd and 2nd
On his part, the German was surprised by the Mercedes’ lead but satisfied with his car: « It was a bit surprising that we had the fastest car here today because I expected the Red Bulls to be closer, so it’s really an encouraging start to the weekend. The car was great and is very fast in the corners, so overall I am very happy. »
He must, however, improve his pace ahead of the qualifying rounds: « I really need to find some time, and there is setup work for me and my engineers to do tonight if we want to achieve that. But I am confident. Qualification will be crucial here, as overtaking is not easy on this amazing circuit. »
