Friday: Bianchi and Marussia F1 are searching for each other at Hockenheim

Jules Bianchi (No. 17) – 20th and 19th

For the Nice native, the day was more complicated than expected: « It took work today to get the settings closer to where they need to be. The changes upset the car’s balance, so we had to go back to restore order. »

However, the situation has improved even though, by tomorrow afternoon, there is still room: « After the break, I could immediately feel that the car was better and we were going in the right direction again, but there is still a lot of work to do with the information we have. »

Max Chilton (No. 4) – 22nd and 21st

For the Briton, the assessment is almost the same: « We had more difficulty with the balance than at the Silverstone tests, and we had to make some setup changes. We expected this to be the case, and I think we’ve already made a lot of progress. »
