Victim of a skiing accident in the very last days of 2013, Michael Schumacher has left the Grenoble hospital and is no longer in a coma, according to a statement from his entourage.

On December 29, 2013, Michael Schumacher suffered a skiing accident at the Méribel resort in Savoy. Shortly after, the German champion fell into a coma, having suffered a serious head injury. Since then, he was receiving care at the Grenoble hospital where his condition stabilized.

Today, a press release from the entourage of the seven-time F1 world champion announced that he had left the Grenoble hospital and was no longer in a coma: « Michael has left the Grenoble University Hospital to continue his long rehabilitation phase. He is no longer in a coma.

Her family would like to explicitly thank all her doctors, nurses, and therapists in Grenoble as well as the first responders at the scene of the accident, who did an excellent job during those first months.

The family also wishes to thank everyone who sent Michael their wishes. We are sure that it helped him.
