Bahrain Testing 3 Live – Day 2
MotorsInside invites you to follow the first session of private Formula 1 testing during the 2014 season, in Bahrain, at the Sakhir circuit, live.
After three Grand Prix races this season, Formula 1 remained in Bahrain, at the Sakhir circuit, for what will be the first of four in-season private test sessions scheduled by the regulations. This session will provide teams the opportunity to undertake initial development work to best prepare for the Chinese Grand Prix and especially the return to Europe for the Spanish Grand Prix on May 11th. Here are the results of the first day that took place yesterday.
On track today, unless there are program changes: Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull), Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), Fernando Alonso (Ferrari), Romain Grosjean (Lotus), Kevin Magnussen (McLaren), Sergio Pérez (Force India), Giedo van der Garde (Sauber), Jean-Eric Vergne (Toro Rosso), Felipe Nasr (Williams), Jules Bianchi (Marussia) and Marcus Ericsson (Caterham).
The tests not being televised, the editorial team of MotorsInside will provide live text updates throughout the day to keep you informed of the essential track activity. The tests will begin at 8:00 AM and will end at 4:30 PM. A half-hour break is expected at 12:00 PM.
