Bahrain Test 3 Live – Day 1
MotorsInside invites you to follow the first session of private Formula 1 tests during the 2014 season, in Bahrain, at the Sakhir circuit, live.
After three Grand Prix this season, Formula 1 stayed in Bahrain, at the Sakhir circuit, for what will be the first of four in-season private testing sessions scheduled by the regulations. This session will be an opportunity for teams to carry out initial development work to best prepare for the Chinese Grand Prix and especially the return to Europe for the Spanish Grand Prix on May 11th.
If the program is not fully known, it is known that this first day will be an opportunity to see Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull), Fernando Alonso (Ferrari), Pastor Maldonado (Lotus), Oliver Turvey (McLaren), Nico Hülkenberg (Force India), Valtteri Bottas (Williams), Max Chilton (Marussia), and Robin Frijns (Caterham). Tire tests will also be carried out with Pirelli: today, Caterham will handle it, before Mercedes and Williams tomorrow.
Since the trials are not televised, the editorial team at MotorsInside will provide a live text feed throughout the day to keep you informed of the key track activities. The trials will start at 8:00 a.m. and will end at 4:30 p.m. A half-hour break is expected at 12:00 p.m.
