2014 Australian Grand Prix: Live Race Coverage
Starting at 6:50 am, join the casinoenligne.uk.com editorial team to experience the first Grand Prix of the 2014 Formula 1 season, on the Albert Park circuit in Melbourne.
This weekend marks the return of Formula 1 and the start of the 2014 World Championship! The paddock opens its doors again and the show should be thrilling, as uncertainty looms over the true hierarchy of the season.
The qualifications, held on a largely drenched track, were an opportunity to confirm the form of Lewis Hamilton’s and Nico Rosberg’s Mercedes and, at the same time, their status as favorites at the start of a new era. Behind them, Ricciardo and Magnussen impressed in these conditions, but the question remains about their ability to hold within a group of leaders. In fifth position, Fernando Alonso will be poised to take advantage of any mistake or failure from his competitors. He will precede Jean-Eric Vergne, who is on the third row for the first time in his career.
Faced with this leap into the unknown that is the first race of the turbo hybrid V6 era, the return of Formula 1 will undoubtedly be more spectacular than ever, and the ingredients for an eventful Grand Prix are plentiful.
