Bahrain Test 2 Live – Day 1

Continuation and conclusion of the winter tests in Sakhir, where the teams will have one last opportunity to run their cars before the first free practice sessions of the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, from March 14th to 16th. On this occasion, simulations of long stints, or even race stints, and qualifying runs could multiply over these four days if, and only if, problems do not overly hinder the teams’ track time.

These four days will also be an opportunity to focus on the performance of Mercedes, McLaren, Ferrari, and Williams, all of which seemed relatively comfortable during the first session, from February 19 to 22. The Silver Arrows, in particular, will be the center of attention, as they are already considered the favorite cars for the titles. However, there is no doubt that Lotus and Red Bull will also be closely watched by observers and will hope to drive significantly more than during the previous days.

For this first day, the following will be on track: Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull), Nico Rosberg (Mercedes), Kimi Räikkönen (Ferrari), Pastor Maldonado (Lotus), Kevin Magnussen (McLaren), Sergio Pérez (Force India), Adrian Sutil (Sauber), Daniil Kvyat (Toro Rosso), Valtteri Bottas (Williams), Max Chilton (Marussia), and Kamui Kobayashi (Caterham). You can also find the full schedule of these tests.

The tests not being televised, the Motors Inside editorial team will provide live text coverage throughout the day to keep you informed about the on-track activity. The tests will start at 7:00 AM and will end at 3:30 PM. A half-hour break will be taken around 10:00 AM.
