Sauber launches the C33
The first images of the C33, the single-seater designed for the 2014 F1 season by Sauber, have leaked on the Internet.
Even before the official presentation, scheduled for 4 PM this Sunday, images have surfaced online showing the new Sauber C33. The Swiss team’s car will be driven this season by Adrian Sutil (#99) and Esteban Gutierrez (#21), and powered by a Ferrari hybrid engine.
This is the 17th single-seater of the team founded by Peter Sauber and currently led by Monisha Kaltenborn. It retains the colors of its predecessor, the Sauber C32, while adopting a front-end solution that seems to slightly resemble the one used by Ferrari. We will have to wait for new images or, more simply, the start of the Jerez tests on Tuesday, January 28, to know what it actually entails.
