Official: Marussia will be in Jerez
The Russian team officially announced early in the afternoon that its Marussia MR03 would be on track in Jerez for the first winter tests.
It is through a series of messages on their official Twitter account that the Marussia team confirmed their participation in the first pre-season tests, which will take place from January 28 to 31 in Jerez de la Frontera.
The car, which will be driven this season by Jules Bianchi (#17) and Max Chilton (#4), will therefore be unveiled very soon, although the exact date has not been given by the team. It is possible to imagine that the MR03 will be presented either the day before (January 27) or on the morning of the tests, for a day that promises to be already very busy in terms of new developments. It is also not impossible that, like Force India, the team might surprise everyone.
On Twitter, the team states that it is ready to get back to business, eager to test all the new elements on the track. They also take the opportunity to thank Ferrari, their engine supplier for this season, for all their support with the new hybrid unit.
