Official: Massa joins Bottas at Williams in 2014

After the announcement of the end of his collaboration with Scuderia Ferrari, following the Italian Grand Prix in September, Felipe Massa has consistently expressed his desire to remain in the top racing discipline. It is now confirmed as the Williams team has just announced that he will team up with Valtteri Bottas for the 2014 season.

The Brazilian will therefore replace Pastor Maldonado, who is leaving, and will be tied to the Grove team for several years, without the precise duration of the contract being disclosed, as is customary.

In a press release, Williams F1 highlights the selflessness and experience of the Paulista: « We are very pleased to be able to confirm our line-up for 2014 and to welcome Felipe to the Williams family.
