Friday: Sutil places Force India in the top 10, di Resta confident

After two catastrophic weekends at Spa and Monza, the Force India team finally comes up for air with Adrian Sutil's ninth fastest time. He is satisfied with the performance on a lap, while his teammate is pleased with the performance on long stints, which could give the Indian team something to dream about.

Friday: Sutil places Force India in the top 10, di Resta confident

Adrian Sutil – 16th and 9th

« It’s encouraging to be back in the top 10 and if we can do a similar stint tomorrow with the super-soft tires, I think we can aim for the top 10 in qualifying. The main point we need to work on tonight is our performance with the medium tires because I was much more comfortable with the super-softs. »

Paul di Resta – 15th and 13th

« We made good progress between the sessions and we are clearly competitive in the long runs. So I’d like to say that compared to previous years, things are looking positive given that we’re managing to place the car in the same area as last year, when it worked well. A few gains overnight would be welcome, so we will focus on some of the smaller details to try to further improve. »
