This weekend, the F1 paddock is in Monza, Italy, for the 12th Grand Prix of the 2013 season. This weekend also marks the end of the European season as the upcoming races will take place in Asia, North America, South America, and the Middle East.
The rain could make an appearance this afternoon, which could spice up the race. If the race remains dry, we should see a majority of one or two-stop strategies as the track located north of Milan is not too taxing on the tires.
In pole position, we find Sebastian Vettel’s Red Bull, alongside his teammate Mark Webber. In third place is a surprise guest, Nico Hülkenberg, who had an excellent qualifying session to place his Sauber on the second row. He is surrounded by the Ferraris, with Felipe Massa beside him and Fernando Alonso behind him. Following are Nico Rosberg, Daniel Ricciardo, Sergio Pérez, Jenson Button, and Jean-Eric Vergne, who completes the top 10. Behind the Frenchman, there are three drivers who will undoubtedly try to gain as many positions as possible at the start: Kimi Räikkönen, Lewis Hamilton, and Romain Grosjean.
