Friday: Sutil satisfied, di Resta less so at Force India
Adrian Sutil managed to set up his Force India quite quickly, which was not the case for his teammate Paul di Resta, even though things eventually improved for the Scotsman.
Adrian Sutil – 7th and 10th:
« It was a positive session this morning and we found a good balance quite early. This afternoon, we mainly worked on the tires to try to get the most out of them. I feel better with the soft tires than with the medium ones, but it was difficult to always get them to work well. The main thing is that we collected interesting information, and we can hope to improve things for tomorrow. Apart from the tires, the overall balance is good; the car behaves well during braking and in the corners, and I feel comfortable. »
Paul di Resta – 18th and 11th:
« It wasn’t the most straightforward day, and right from the start of practice, I was looking for the right settings for the car. We clearly made progress this afternoon, but there are many things to review tonight and adjust before qualifying. Today was the first chance to start performance work with the new tires, and we managed to cover 60 laps, which gives us a lot of information to prepare for this weekend. »
