Friday: Finishing touches to be refined for Williams

If the FW35 seems more comfortable at the Hungaroring according to the Williams drivers, not all issues are resolved. Bottas and Maldonado are not satisfied with the balance of their cars and will need to improve it if they want to aim higher than in recent races.

Friday: Finishing touches to be refined for Williams

Pastor Maldonado – 10th and 13th:

« It wasn’t a bad day for us because our performance seemed better than in the last races compared to the times achieved today. We still need to work on the balance as the feelings are similar, but we will analyze the data and try to reduce the gap for tomorrow. The heat is going to be an important factor this weekend for all the teams. »

Valtteri Bottas – 12th and 18th:

« We had good mechanical tests during the first practice session and we need to look at the data from the second session to see what more we can extract from the car since the track will improve and with the soft tires, the lap times could have been better, but I encountered traffic. We still need to find a better balance with the car to try to do better tomorrow. »
