Saturday: Both Force India cars in the top 10
The Sahara Force India team managed to stand out today during the qualifying session at Silverstone. The team, racing on home ground, succeeded in placing both its drivers in the top 10, with special mention for Paul di Resta, who finished 5th. They hope to confirm this success tomorrow by scoring numerous points.
Paul di Resta – 10th and 5th:
I am more than thrilled with this qualifying result and I think the whole team can be very satisfied with this 5th place on the grid. This morning’s practice session was difficult so it’s nice to come back and finish just behind the two Mercedes and the two Red Bulls. This circuit requires a lot of commitment and you need to be fast, but I think we saved the best for last – and that’s where it counted. For tomorrow, our tire wear looks good and we have given ourselves a good opportunity to have some space in front of us during the race. I will sleep well tonight and hopefully we have a good race, and score big points.
