Friday: Force India is already performing well
Despite a first practice session disrupted by rain and therefore limited running, both Sahara Force India drivers are already satisfied with the performance of their cars. However, there remains a crucial point to work on, the tires.
Paul Di Resta – 13th (no time) and 4th:
« After such a wet morning, it was nice to be able to drive on the dry this afternoon. It was very productive and the car is working well, so hopefully we can keep the momentum going tomorrow. We didn’t run much this morning, but with the dry conditions expected for the weekend, I think we learned as much as the others. The goal tonight is to continue improving because there is more to get out of the car. We also need to keep in mind that it should be much warmer tomorrow, so it’s hard to predict how much that will impact things. »
Adrian Sutil – 16th (no time) and 8th:
We seemed good today. There are areas to improve, particularly the performance with the mediums, but the car works well with the hards. I’m happy with the balance so the main work we’ll have to do is analyze the tires because I don’t think we’ll have many changes to make in terms of the car’s setup.
