Thursday: Sahara Force India drivers satisfied
After the first day of testing, Paul di Resta and Adrian Sutil were quite pleased with their car and both men hope to improve it ahead of qualifying and the race. Sutil is also delighted to be back in the principality of Monaco at the wheel of an F1.
Paul Di Resta – 12th and 10th:
« A good day of work, even if there are many discussions after two practice sessions in Monaco. There are some improvements we can make to improve the balance, especially with the race in mind, and that’s something we’re going to work on tonight and tomorrow. The tire program went well, and we gathered as much data as we could, which is always the main goal on a Friday, so I think we’re in good shape. My overall feeling about the car is good, and the work done today has set us in the right direction. »
Adrian Sutil – 13th and 11th:
It’s always a pleasure to come to Monaco and drive a Formula 1 car at the limit – and for me, it had been two years since my last time here. It didn’t take me too long to find my rhythm, and things went well. We made good progress between the two sessions and I feel comfortable with the car. We know what the plan is for tomorrow and where we need to improve to be ready for Saturday.
