Guns ‘N Roses will perform a concert as part of the Malaysian GP
The legendary hard rock band, Guns ‘N Roses, will perform a concert during the Malaysian Grand Prix weekend scheduled for March 2013.
As part of F1 Rocks, numerous artists from the rock music scene have performed alongside Formula 1 Grand Prix for several years.
In 2012, Lenny Kravitz, Santana, Wolfmother, and The Cranberries took to the stage to perform large-scale shows on the evenings of certain races, notably in India and Australia.
This desire of Bernie Ecclestone and the Grand Prix promoters to make race weekends a grand spectacle that goes beyond the scope of motorsport remains present in 2013, as it is announced that during the Malaysian Grand Prix scheduled for March 22, 23, and 24, the hard rock band Guns ‘N Roses will take the stage on Sunday evening to celebrate fifteen years of the Malaysian race’s presence in the world championship calendar.
This is the first time the group will perform in this country, and this date is an integral part of their current world tour, which also includes stops in Australia.
