Official: Charles Pic to drive for Caterham in 2013
Long anticipated within the team malaise starting next season, Charles Pic will indeed join Caterham from 2013, with a "multi-year" contract.
The Formula 1 scene was abuzz with rumors of the Marussia driver moving to Caterham for several months. These rumors have been confirmed through an announcement published on the Malaysian team’s website.
« I am very proud to confirm that I am joining Caterham F1 next year and I am eager to start a fruitful collaboration over several seasons with the team. I am excited to have the opportunity to continue progressing in a team that has a technical partnership with a number of global French companies, including Renault and Total, in addition to an official partnership with EADS. It is clear that the team has big ambitions for the future: the investments already made and the decisions taken in recent months have shown how committed the shareholders are to succeeding and their eagerness to keep moving forward, » said Charles Pic, as reported by the Caterham statement.

No other information has been released regarding his future teammate. Even though the choice will likely be between Heikki Kovalainen and Vitaly Petrov.
