Saturday: Pessimism is the order of the day at Williams
In difficulty during Q2, the Williams drivers complain about the lack of pace of their FW34 and hope to do better in the race to recover some points.
Pastor Maldonado – 9th and 15th:
« We had difficulties making progress after our practice sessions this weekend. I put in a clean lap in Q2 and extracted everything I could from the car, but we just didn’t have the pace today. We are going to work very hard to be in a position to fight for points from where we are, as it is difficult to overtake on this track. »
Bruno Senna – 18th and 18th:
« I am naturally disappointed today. We had some issues during practice with different elements of the car, and as a result, we couldn’t put everything together for qualifying. We just have to bounce back from this rough patch and try to have a good race tomorrow. »
