Friday: Mercedes More Comfortable in Yeongam than Suzuka
After a challenging weekend at Suzuka, Mercedes believes they are capable of achieving a solid result in Yeongam. The F1 W03 seems to favor the Korean track better, and a top 10 finish should be attainable for tomorrow's qualifying session.
Michael Schumacher – 6th and 5th:
« I am happy with the two sessions today. As expected, it seems that our car suits this circuit better. The day went well, so I think we can aim for the Top 10 tomorrow and plan our strategy accordingly. We made a few small changes, nothing significant, and we seem strong on the long runs. Obviously, I haven’t been able to analyze the times of the other teams yet, but we will try to achieve a solid result this weekend. »
Nico Rosberg – 7th and 7th:
« It was a good day for us, and we made progress during both sessions. We had some new things to try on the car that are working quite well, and we seem better than at Suzuka. So I’m looking forward to tomorrow to see where we stand compared to the other cars. »
