Webber receives a 20-second penalty

Webber was under investigation following his overtaking of Kamui Kobayashi in the final laps of the Singapore Grand Prix for the gain of 10th place. The Australian driver was found guilty of leaving the track limits and gaining an advantage as a result.

He was therefore sanctioned with a drive-through penalty by the panel of stewards. Since the race was over, this was converted into a 20-second penalty, placing the Red Bull driver not in 10th but in 11th position at the finish, thus giving the point for 10th place to Sergio Pérez in his Sauber C31.
