Friday: Force India gained experience in the rain, just in case

Under conditions not conducive to testing, the Force India drivers waited, like most of their peers, for a slight improvement to allow them to take to the track. The drivers of the Indian team were thus able to accumulate experience in case the rain would return during the weekend.

Friday: Force India gained experience in the rain, just in case

Paul di Resta – 11th and 4th:

« There isn’t much to say after a day where you spent most of your time in the stand waiting for the rain to stop. There were a few moments when the rain eased this morning, so I managed to do a few laps on rain tires, but it was very tricky and there were some very wet spots on the track.

We did a few runs to check the car, but there was little we could learn from this day. We have to think about the fans who didn’t see much action on the track. I hope they aren’t too wet.

Nico Hülkenberg – 13th and 9th:

« It’s one of those Spa days, the type of weather we often encounter here. It was wet when we woke up, and the rain stayed with us all day. It was cold too, and rather chilly in the car.

We followed a limited program because there was no reason to take risks on such a wet track. We think it will be better tomorrow, but at least we gained some experience and some data from these track conditions, because you never know what the Spa sky has in store for us.
