Susie Wolff will drive the Williams next Tuesday

Susie Wolff, who was hired by the Williams team as a development driver for the 2012 season, will carry out her first testing session with the Grove team. The young woman will take the wheel of the FW34 next Tuesday for a straight-line test near Barcelona.

She told Austrian television ORF, jokingly adding, “I’m lucky because I’m very strong on a straight line.” She also mentioned that she should undergo another straight-line test during the season.

But what she is eagerly waiting for is to be able to drive the FW34 on a circuit, but she thinks it will not happen before the end of the year: «I am ready and I am eagerly waiting, but I think it will not happen before October. The tests for young drivers are scheduled in Abu Dhabi in November.»
