Saturday: Red Bull can glimpse victory at the Grand Prix
Author of a good overall performance during this qualifying session, Red Bull can legitimately aim for victory in a race where Sebastian Vettel will start from the position where he is the best, the first. Mark Webber, on the other hand, experienced a slight problem but believes that fourth place is a good thing for the Grand Prix.
Sebastian Vettel – 1st and 1st
« We were good on the car today and able to improve step by step in qualifying. I am very happy with the result and the laps at the end of qualifying, because we were able to improve the times each time. It puts us in an excellent position, but despite that, tomorrow is the most important. We have put ourselves in a good position, eight meters ahead of Lewis, and we start from there. It should be hotter tomorrow, so it’s important to get a good start and see what we can do. A lot of things can happen. »
Mark Webber – 4th and 4th
« I am surprised to be fourth. It wasn’t the calmest session, so actually I am quite surprised to be here. I wasn’t very happy with the last stints in terms of confidence in the car and that means you can’t get the maximum out of yourself, so fourth place is okay. It’s a long race and we are here. Seb did a very good lap. The car is good here and the conditions should be good tomorrow for the race. »
