After a three-week break and three more or less productive private test days at Mugello, the big F1 circus returns to Spain for the first European Grand Prix of the season. While three different teams have taken the lead since the start of the season, the qualifying for the Spanish Grand Prix held on the oh-so-familiar Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona promises to be just as unpredictable as three different drivers from three different teams have topped the timesheets in each of the free practice sessions. Will pole position once again go to a McLaren, Mercedes, or Red Bull driver? Will Lotus drivers be able to seize victory this time? Will the modifications to the F2012 pay off? Could Sauber and Williams spring a surprise?
