Friday: Another good start to the weekend for Marussia
Charles Pic and Timo Glock are satisfied with their tests with the MR01, which once again demonstrated a good level of reliability, allowing the Anglo-Russian team to begin initial developments.
Timo Glock – 21st and 20th:
I must say that today has been a pretty good day for us. It’s one of the toughest Fridays of the season for the whole team, and they did a great job. Our schedule anticipated that we had a lot of work to do on the car, and the guys were always ready to react. We still have things to resolve: the car isn’t perfect in some areas yet. However, we’ve made a lot of progress, so we need to keep going like this tomorrow.
The tires seem difficult to maintain over the distance of a race, so there could be some bets.
Regarding the heat, my winter physical preparation has paid off.
It’s a good start to the weekend, and we’ve once again demonstrated good reliability.
Charles Pic – 22nd and 22nd:
It was a very interesting day for me. We had a big schedule to complete […] the results were positive and I am happy with the progress we made on the car.
It’s not easy for the team to work in this heat: it was a long day for everyone. Now, we have a lot of data for tomorrow and I will also have the new rear floor parts to try, so I’m looking forward to that.
It’s good work from everyone and I thank everyone for it.
