Third and penultimate day of testing in Barcelona. Most teams are changing drivers, with Mark Webber, Jenson Button, Felipe Massa, Paul di Resta, Pastor Maldonado, Kamui Kobayashi, Michael Schumacher, and Jean-Eric Vergne taking the place of their respective teammates.
After discovering his new work environment yesterday, Vitaly Petrov continues today with Caterham, while at Marussia, Timo Glock will take the wheel of the MVR-02 for his only scheduled testing day this week.
Lotus having canceled its participation in the tests until the end of the week, Kimi Räikkönen will therefore not take the wheel as initially planned.

**2:27 PM:** Vitaly Petrov claims the provisional best time with 1:22.268… but it’s due to a timing error! The Russian actually completed a lap in 1:27.268.
