Ferrari cancels the presentation of its 2012 car

Due to heavy snowfall affecting parts of Europe, particularly northern Italy, the shakedown of Ferrari’s 2012 car was known to be at risk. Ultimately, all ceremonies for the presentation of the single-seater, currently known as Project 663, at Maranello have been canceled by Scuderia: « Snow continued to fall last night over Maranello and its surroundings, and the situation does not seem likely to change this morning. Forecasts predict more snow and a drop in temperature. Consequently, the decision has been made to cancel the presentation ceremonies for the new car, which were scheduled to take place tomorrow at 10:30 am » announces Ferrari on its website.

The decision was made due to the weather conditions and the difficulties that nearly 300 people invited by our partners, authorities, and media representatives would have faced in reaching Maranello.

Fans of the Scuderia can rest assured, however, if the ceremonies are canceled, the 663 project will indeed unveil its forms on Friday, as planned: The photos, all the technical information about the car, as well as exclusive interviews, will be available to everyone on our site.
