Friday: Everything is going as planned at Williams
Although Rubens Barrichello complains about the change in behavior of his car between the two sessions, both Williams drivers are satisfied with the work completed at the end of free practice focused on assessing different tire compounds and optimizing the settings, particularly in anticipation of potential changes in weather conditions.
Rubens Barrichello – 13th & 18th:
The car seemed better this morning than this afternoon, so we will have work to do in practice tomorrow to ensure we are in the best possible shape for qualifying.
Apart from that, it was a normal day with everything going as planned.
Pastor Maldonado – 16th & 17th:
« This track is very fun! We didn’t encounter any problems today and completed our program on time, which includes a lot of long stints with different tire compounds, which is positive.
It gave us some good information that we will use to perfect our preparation for the race.
