Saturday: A difficult weekend for Virgin
Marussia Virgin Racing experienced a difficult weekend in Singapore. Timo Glock was not satisfied with the behavior of his car since the initial practice sessions and the team was unable to fix this issue for the qualifying sessions. Jérôme D'Ambrosio, on the other hand, was hindered by poor brake distribution, which prevented him from being fully confident. The objective will be to reach the finish line tomorrow.
Timo Glock – 23rd 21st:
A difficult weekend from the start. I wasn’t really happy with the rear of the car and we haven’t managed to fix it yet, so qualifying wasn’t perfect. I made a small mistake in turn 13 but apart from that, I think I did my best. I love this race so I’m looking forward to tomorrow. Anything can happen in Singapore so we just have to be ready.
Jérome D’Ambrosio – 20th and 22nd:
« I am a bit disappointed with today’s qualifying. The car is relatively good but we had an issue with the brake balance. We had to change that for the second stint but it still wasn’t perfect and it made me lose confidence. As always, we will try to make the most with what we have tomorrow and bring both cars to the finish in the best possible position.
