Whiting gives the green light to India
The FIA delegate was impressed by the progress of the work.
The Indian circuit received the green light from Charlie Whiting following the last track inspection that took place on Thursday.
In a statement released by Vicky Chandock, the head of the Federation of Indian Motor Sports, Whiting said he is pleased that the progress is more advanced than he expected.
He said that the progress was more satisfactory than expected since the last time he visited the circuit, explains Vicky Chandock. He also expressed his confidence that the first Indian Grand Prix will be a huge success.
The first Indian Grand Prix will take place on October 30, and the final license will be granted the week before the race once all the facilities have been completed.
