Towards a Red Bull domination in 2012?

McLaren seems to have regained its form since the German Grand Prix. However, Lewis Hamilton is concerned about the level of competitiveness of Red Bull, and not just for the remainder of the season.

« In terms of era, I think it could still be the case next year, that they dominate from the start and we have to catch up with them, » explains Lewis Hamilton.

For the British driver, Red Bull will remain very competitive as long as the rules do not undergo significant changes. « I might be wrong, but I have no doubt that they will be very competitive at the start of the next season. But we have shown that we can come back and beat them. We just want to be closer from the start, » adds the McLaren driver.

On his side, Fernando Alonso partly shares the opinion of his former teammate. « Red Bull has shown that they are very strong, so there is no doubt they will be among the favorites next season, but with the stability of the regulations, I think Ferrari and McLaren will be more competitive. I don’t know if we’ll be ahead or following Red Bull, but we will be closer, » Alonso stated at Spa-Francorchamps.
