Renault has officially announced the replacement of Nick Heidfeld with Bruno Senna for the Belgian Grand Prix.
After two days of rumors and lack of confirmation from the parties involved, Lotus Renault GP has just released a dispatch officially announcing the replacement of Nick Heidfeld by Bruno Senna this weekend.
Lotus Renault GP is pleased to announce that Bruno Senna will be competing alongside Vitaly Petrov for the Belgian Grand Prix, taking place this weekend at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.
Bruno will participate in the official FIA press conference tomorrow at 3 p.m.

Eddie Jordan revealed the information on Monday evening on the BBC, stating that the team’s decision was motivated by financial reasons, with the Brazilian bringing in sponsors whereas Nick Heidfeld was earning a salary.
