The FIA reveals the DRS zone of the Hungaroring

After testing a double DRS activation zone, the FIA has apparently backtracked and now only provides one DRS activation zone for each track since a few races ago.

In Hungary, the system can be triggered 70 meters after the apex of the last corner, that is, at the exit of the same corner, while the gap between the two drivers will be measured just before this slow corner.

On a track where the first turn is usually the only place where overtaking is possible according to the drivers, the introduction of DRS could be important to facilitate overtaking. Even though, coming out of a rather slow corner, KERS can be used quite effectively to counter the speed boost given by the movable rear wing, we can hope to see more overtaking than in the past, which should not be very complicated on a track that is seldom used during the year and gradually rubbers in over the weekend.
