The Fan-F1 Barometer after the British GP
After each Grand Prix, casinoenligne.uk.com offers you an update on the drivers and teams currently in form, thanks to our consistency ranking. At the end of each race, classified drivers are awarded points ranging from 24 (for the first) to 1 point (for the last), which creates a consistency ranking that you can discover in our 'Rankings' section.
Who would be leading the championship if only the last four Grand Prix races counted?
A slight dip in performance for Sebastian Vettel who, while still comfortably leading our rankings, only has 94 out of 96 possible points. For the first time, the German driver has only 2 wins in the last 4 races, following Button’s victory in Canada and Alonso’s this weekend in Great Britain.
The Spaniard takes this opportunity to climb onto the Barometer’s podium, benefiting from Jenson Button’s retirement, who was 4th tied with Nico Rosberg. Despite his strong race, Hamilton remains 6th in our barometer and is ahead of Felipe Massa, who made an incredible comeback of 9 places. The little Brazilian from Ferrari is ahead of his compatriot and Nick Heidfeld.
Another sensation for the drivers is the entry of Jaime Alguersuari into the rankings, who is on a streak of three races in the points, despite starting positions that are more than tricky: the Spaniard gains 6 places and takes the opportunity to oust his teammate from the rankings.
If Sutil moves up a place, Kobayashi takes the tumble of the week by losing 5 positions after two successive weekends with significantly poorer results.
In the constructors’ standings, Ferrari has had a successful performance and solidified its recent resurgence by taking second place, still at a considerable distance from Red Bull. Consequently, Scuderia moves ahead of McLaren and Mercedes.
Behind Sauber, in 5th place, Lotus Renault GP and Toro Rosso exchange their positions and are ahead of Force India and Williams.
At the back of the pack, Team Lotus pays dearly for its double retirement and leaves the 10th place to HRT, which sees Team Virgin closing in on their heels.

See you in two weeks, after the German Grand Prix, to see how the standings have evolved and to observe the effects of the new regulations limiting the use of the blown diffuser.
