This collision was not the only notable incident for Haas, as Romain Grosjean was involved in a dangerous situation during the first pit stop when Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari rejoined right in front of him: \u00ab He lost five places! He was in neutral, rolling slowly but suddenly he had to brake, then shift back into gear to accelerate again. \u00bb He questioned the FIA’s decision to impose only a financial penalty (5000 euros) on Ferrari and not a penalty on Charles Leclerc: \u00ab We’ll need to think about that: it can encourage risky behavior, the FIA receives the money. In the end, both drivers still managed to finish in the points. But in a race where the other teams scored big points, Haas leaves Germany only in ninth position in the Constructors’ Championship.
