Mercedes has appeared to be in difficulty during the three winter testing sessions at the Bahrain circuit. Obviously, this is not the first time that the world champion team has faced difficulties and it has never prevented them from winning in the end.<\/p>\n
One of the reasons given for these difficulties could be that the team chose not to do a shakedown at Silverstone before the official tests this year. This brief session usually allows to check that all systems are operational and therefore not to waste precious time during the official testing days.<\/p>\n
In order to not cross their arms in the two weeks leading up to the start of the season, Mercedes has therefore decided to use their day reserved for filming promotional images today. The conditions are obviously very restrictive since the total mileage cannot exceed 100 kilometers in total and the tires are not of the quality used in racing.<\/p>\n
But on the other hand, there is nothing stopping you from trying specific parts. Any opportunity is good for accumulating running time and therefore valuable data on the behavior of the single-seater, especially since the team has fielded two single-seaters in order to simulate the evolution in traffic.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
