The drivers will therefore have the same compounds as they did at the Monaco Grand Prix. The reason for this nomination is that the hard tire was not used at all during the Baku race in 2019, while the medium was widely used,&#8221; explains Mario Isola, the director of Pirelli F1.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab The softest tires in the Pirelli Formula 1 range were selected for the first time at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix: C3 as P Zero White hard, C4 as P Zero Yellow medium, and C5 as P Zero Red soft. This is a softer step than in 2019 (the last time the race was run) and the same nomination as Monaco. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/\/twitter.com\/pirellisport\/status\/1399346802109956097___\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Le choix des pneus de Pirelli pour Bakou\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>With this choice of tires, the Italian brand hopes to offer teams more strategic variety.
