The adventure will have been short-lived. Less than a year after his arrival at Williams, following the sale of the team to the investment fund Dorilton Capital, Simon Roberts will no longer be the team principal following an internal restructuring. Arriving in June 2020, the Briton had played a role in the transition period after the team was sold.<\/p>\n

Jost Capito then takes over the title and duties of team principal as part of this restructuring, which further streamlines operations in line with long-term goals to bring Williams back to the forefront.<\/p>\n
Also involved in this reshuffling, French engineer Fran\u00e7ois-Xavier Demaison, who joined the team last March, is expected to take on the supervision of track activities and engineering.<\/p>\n
