In 2025, Formula 1 aims to create and introduce a new, more powerful engine that would generate excitement.<\/p>\n<p>This Saturday, a new meeting will be organized in Austria and will bring together all these stakeholders to assess the situation and communicate the demands of the major manufacturers regarding the discipline.<\/p>\n<p>According to information provided to Motorsport.com, this meeting would be the last chance to convince Volkswagen to commit to the discipline. The next engine regulations could attract the German manufacturer to join F1, at least that&#8217;s what the participants in the meeting and McLaren team principal Andreas Seidl hope.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Ultimately, I think it is simply important that, whatever the next regulation on power units, it must be technology-relevant. Because that&#8217;s the key, both to keep current manufacturers interested in F1, and also to attract new manufacturers.
