The quadruple rallycross champion will team up with a woman, as the regulations require, but her identity has not yet been revealed.<\/p>\n<p>With the arrival of Tanner Foust, McLaren has the services of a driver used to off-road and drifting, as he has been a four-time rallycross champion (2010, 2011, 2012, 2019) and has won two Formula Drift championships (2007 and 2008).<\/p>\n<p>McLaren CEO Zak Brown is delighted at Tanner&#8217;s arrival at McLaren and believes it will allow the discipline to reach new fans: &#8220;We are thrilled that Tanner has joined the McLaren Racing driver family. He is a top-level off-road competitor with a wealth of experience and a winning record,&#8221; said Zak Brown.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Alongside his driving prowess, he is a fantastic personality, who will help us connect with new fans from around the world and highlight the important goals and messages of Extreme E,\u201d he continued. \u201cWe are excited to announce Tanner&#8217;s teammate who will be the first female McLaren driver, to complete our exciting duo.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>On his side, the American driver is happy to join McLaren and to participate in this championship.<\/p>\n<p>Being able to run for McLaren is every driver&#8217;s dream and the opportunity to compete for the team in this innovative and imaginative series of races makes it even more special.
