The track, where the MotoGP season opener usually takes place, must be modified to meet the requirements of the premier category of car racing.<\/p>\n<p>These changes will only affect the pit lane, some safety elements and a few rumble strips will also be reviewed. &#8220;They completely change the entrance to the pits,&#8221; explains Michael Masi, F1&#8217;s race director, to Motorsport.com. &#8220;What used to be the entrance for motorcycles to the pits will change drastically. There are also quite a few modifications concerning the barriers, Tecpro and tire walls around the entire circuit. Double rumble strips have also been installed to prevent drivers from cutting corners on the inside.
