F1&#8217;s media owner, Liberty Media, is condensing the current Grand Prix format. Friday&#8217;s free practice sessions are grouped in the afternoon, and Thursday&#8217;s media day is removed.<\/p>\n<p>To not restrict media coverage of sports, F1&#8217;s sporting director, Ross Brawn, is adding a media session on Friday morning. The purpose of this session is to allow teams to explain the various adjustments made to their cars since the last Grand Prix. What was once private is now public starting in 2022, as teams must declare new components to the FIA every weekend.
