F1 has new hybrid power units since 2014. They replace the old V8 engines that had naturally aspirated and were introduced in 2006.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the Brazilian Grand Prix is to promote these V6 engines and their specificity as hybrid power units. This is why, exceptionally, this Grand Prix will have its graphics (drivers’ names, race standings, paddock, etc.) specially designed for the occasion.<\/p>\n
