Sir Lewis Hamilton dominated the first Grand Prix of Qatar in the history of Formula 1 from start to finish: pole position, victory and leading all 57 laps (only missing out on the fastest lap of the race).<\/p>\n
He was never really worried by his championship rival Max Verstappen (who still holds the lead in the driver’s championship) and was able to secure his 102nd career victory.<\/p>\n

It is really great to have been able to regain so many points (on Verstappen) in the last two Grand Prix, it was important. (Red Bull) are still very fast as you can see today with their best lap in the race and both their cars have overtaken everyone very easily. So this means we still have work to do.
