This weekend, the battle for the title between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen will rage on the Yas Marina circuit. Since the beginning of the season, the two men have enlivened the Grand Prix, both through their battles and also through their clashes or statements to the press.<\/p>\n

While they are tied on points in the championship, the Dutchman still has an advantage as he has won 9 times, compared to 8 for his rival. The Red Bull driver could therefore be crowned even if the two competitors collide again and do not finish the race.<\/p>\n

Wishing to avoid this situation, the F1 race director, Michael Masi, mentioned in his traditional pre-Grand Prix notes that the FIA reserves the right to deduct points from a driver.<\/p>\n
