A great promotion for the Danish driver who is gradually getting closer to the pinnacle of motorsport.<\/p>\n<p>He will join a team he knows well, ART GP, with whom he completed his second season of F3 in 2020. A 2020 season that saw him finish 4th in the drivers&#8217; standings, highlighted by a victory in Austria.<\/p>\n<p>Also a member of the Mercedes academy, the Dane follows in the footsteps of a certain George Russell who also made his mark in the Formula 1 feeder series within the French structure.<\/p>\n<p>Within a team like ART, Vesti has all the tools to make great progress as a driver in 2022 and maybe even establish himself as one of the top contenders in the championship.<\/p>\n<p>He will be racing alongside Th\u00e9o Pourchaire, who had a very promising rookie season. Frederik Vesti will therefore have a good reference for his debut.<\/p>\n<p>The young Danish seems to be very excited about this opportunity: (e) Signing my contract in F2 with ART Grand Prix is something important for me.
