Its brands Audi and Porsche would benefit from the new engine regulations in that season.<\/p>\n<p>For now, nothing is set in stone and Volkswagen remains on the sidelines until these regulations are officially announced. However, it is highly likely that Porsche will join the Austrian team Red Bull as a power unit supplier, given that Red Bull was left without a partner following Honda&#8217;s departure. Discussions between the two parties appear to be ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>Red Bull has already created its own engine department to address this issue. The team principal of the team, Christian Horner, has spoken out. It&#8217;s excellent news for Formula 1 that these two brands are considering joining Formula 1.
